NeuroHope
Our Journey
The NeuroHope Initiative exists to help people understand trauma, healing, and the hope that can grow through knowledge, compassionate community, and trust in the Lord.
Rooted in authenticity, compassion, wisdom, and hope, NeuroHope is a place for anyone who wants to explore how science and faith can work together in healing from life’s adversities.
Founder
Françoise Lechner
I am an undergraduate, currently studying neuroscience at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Through personal experience, deep reflection, and volunteering with children from underserved backgrounds, I discovered my true calling.
Understand how trauma affects the Brain, body, and a person’s ability to flourish
Through years of learning and serving, I noticed a gap. Many people want to understand trauma, but the information they find feels overwhelming, technical, or out of reach.
I created NeuroHope because I believe that when people better understand how trauma affects the brain and body, they begin to respond to themselves and others with more compassion, patience, and hope.
NeuroHope is an educational resource, not emergency care or individualized treatment. Its purpose is to make trauma research easier to understand and to offer a space where learning, reflection, and faith can support the healing process.
I believe healing is possible. It is rarely easy and almost never linear, but with knowledge, compassion, support, and faith in the Lord, real healing can happen. My hope is that this community helps move you toward a life in which trauma does not have the final word, and in which you grow more fully into the person God created you to be.
